What is Graston Technique®?
Graston Technique® is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy that uses specially designed tools to assess and treat areas of muscle and connective tissue restriction.
It is often used alongside exercise and manual therapy to help improve movement and recovery.
Are there any side effects from Graston Technique® treatment?
Some patients may experience mild, temporary side effects such as:
- Bruising
- Redness
- Tenderness in the treated area
These effects are usually short-lived and improve within a few days.
Can I continue my regular activities after treatment?
In most cases, patients can return to normal daily activities. Your practitioner may provide specific recommendations based on your condition and treatment goals.
Is Graston Technique® treatment painful?
Graston Technique® is not intended to be painful. Some patients may feel mild discomfort depending on the area being treated.
Occasionally, temporary soreness or minor bruising may occur. Your practitioner will adjust the treatment to keep it as comfortable as possible.
