Esha Chakraborti is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and also currently a 3rd year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). Esha has experience working as a registered clinical counsellor, as well as clinical training in cognitive and personality assessments. She has completed her Master of Counselling Psychology from Adler University.
Esha volunteered with police-based Victim Services for several years providing on-scene and telephone support to victims, prior to becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Esha currently works with youth, families, and individuals.
Esha's areas of experience and training include: Anxiety and Panic, Depression and Isolation, Relationships, and Life Transitions.
As a first-generation immigrant, Esha understands that clients come from different upbringings and cultures. She respects, accepts and incorporates a client’s family, cultural or other beliefs within therapy. Esha’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental. She uses evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Approaches, and Family Systems.
