After working with lower limb custom orthotics and bracing for over 10 years Sarah expanded into Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduating from the Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Sarah overcame her own health challenges of endometriosis and gastrointestinal dysbiosis through continual learning and a healthy lifestyle enabling her to travel the world, get on the BC Angels LFL football team and start a family.
In her Pedorthic career Sarah has been helping treat pain and injury in feet, ankles, calves, knees, hips and backs with custom foot orthotics and knee bracing. Conditions treated include rheumatoid arthritis, anterior tibialis dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, shin splints, diabetes, in-toeing, meniscal tear, ligament injury and osteoarthritis. Lesser known conditions treated by TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) are concussions, anxiety, stress, postpartum symptoms, menopause, male and female infertility, insomnia, migraines and relieving unwanted symptoms from medical treatment or chronic illness.
Sarah’s professional interests are Visceral Manipulation and the human gut microbiome and her hobbies include screenwriting, hiking and travelling.
Sarah is a firm believer that the food we eat, the thoughts/emotions which consume our lives and the environment in which we live directly affect our well being and that it’s her job to decode the patient’s history and communicate with their body to help regain harmony and balance within.
